Baccarat is one of the most popular casino card games worldwide. Online casino Baccarat is also very popular at most online casino websites. The game is usually played by two persons, generally caller the player and the banker. The winner of the game is determined by the total card values of the two players. In order to win, the total card value must be as close to 9 as possible. If you have a total of 9, then either the player wins or there is a tie. For calculating the total card values, the values of all the cards in hand are added. Card Values
Cards 2 to 9 are valued at their face values. Cards 10, Jack, Queen and King are all valued zero, while an Ace card is valued at 1. A player can only have two or three cards.

How to Play Baccarat??
The banker passes two face-down cards to the player, and two to himself. Depending on the value of their cards, each of them can either draw an additional card or stand. The player can draw an additional card if his card value is 5 or less. If the card value is 6 or 7, then he stands. If either one or both of them have a card value of 8 or 9, then no further cards are drawn. This situation is known as a "natural".

Baccarat Betting Options
There are three betting options:"Banker", "Player", and "Tie". The "banker" does not refer to the one who deals the cards nor the house. It is a situation in which the one who deals the cards wins. There is a 5% deduction from the winning amount for the house commission.

The term "tie", is a situation when both the player and the banker have the same card value at the end of the deal. If this situation wins, then the betting players are paid at 8:1.
